The argue about political reform in Hong Kong

The discussion of political reform in Hong Kong has been continuing for many years. Next week, the legislative council will vote for whether passing the program of political reform. This vote is regarded as the milestone to going to general election which any citizen have a principle of a man a vote. However, the situation is now far from being satisfactory.

The large difference of position is whether annul the functional constituency between the government and Democratic Party. The government stands up for passing the plan of political reform and reach the destination of general election step by step on 2017 and 2020. It is called the program worse than the plan on 2005. Last night, Yun said, general election is not a dream, but is the promise that the central government of China and basic law is made. Now, although the general election is promised by the central government, there is some doubt. It displays the mutual mistrust on Democratic Party and central government.

In my opinion, I support to pass the plan of reform because it is a waste of time by giving up the program on 2005. General election is goal to achieve for every citizen of Hong Kong, but more important is make the social united and developed. It is just different way to make it work.
